How To Make A Card Using A Fun Layout

Like what you see?

Make a card with any stamp set you have using the same basic, fun layout. This tutorial uses Flowing Flowers, Let’s Sail Away and my personal favourite Easter Friends stamps! People often ask “how do I make a card I like, when I don’t have the stamp set you used”.

Sometimes you see a card you love, but you don’t have exactly the same things at home. So you give up & don’t make the card. Here I show you how it’s easy to switch between colours and stamp sets. It’s called CASEing – Copy And Selectively Edit!

Watch the live stream to see how easy it is to work things a little differently but get the same great result. Personally, I think my cute duckling is even better than the flowers!

Measurements

All cards are the same except for the colours used

  • Cardstock: A5 base, scored & folded in half. Base layer 14.4 x 10 cm, 8 x 8 cm for the layering mat for the image, White cardstock 7.5 x 7.5 cm for the stamping
  • Papers: 13.9 x 9.5 cm
  • Stamps: Flowing Flowers, Let’s Set Sail & Easter Friends

This is just one of the lessons I share and teach in the Card Making Know How membership. It’s about understanding the fundamentals of card making and then using those as stepping stones to becoming a confident card maker. And you can too! But only for a short while. I’m increasing the price after the membership’s first birthday! So why not join us today & join in our celebrations and save money too!

Want to make this at home? Need everything? Just click the link at the bottom of this list that says “Add all to cart” and yes, you guessed it, you’ll add them all to your basket in my online store. But if you only need a few, just click the one you want and it will take you to that page in my store. Note that Suites contain the bundle, paper, and embellishments.
