Yes it’s a funny name for this Tropical Gatefold Flap Card Design, but I can’t really work out what else to call it? It is a part gatefold, part flap card! All I know is that it’s fun to make, fun to give and fun to receive!

This video is a step by step guide through the mechanism and layering for the cards. You will need some basic supplies which are listed below.

Pretty Peacock and Lovely Lipstick are a great combo, but with Lovely Lipstick retiring it works just as well with Real Red or even Melon Mambo! Why not try some new combinations?
Measurements:
- A4 scored at 14.9 cm, turn and fold each side at 5.25 cm
- Cardstock layers cut as follows:
- 14.9 x 5 cm (cut 2 outer sides)
- Designer Series Paper cut as follows:
- 14.4 x 10 cm
- 14.9 x 4.5 (cut 2 outer sides)
- 14.4 x 5 (cut 2 inner sides)
- Whisper White cardstock
- 14.4 x 10 (inside)
